DXP Enterprises, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Mequipco Ltd.
HOUSTON--( BUSINESS WIRE)--DXP Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: DXPE) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Mequipco Ltd. (“Mequipco”). Founded in 1974, Mequipco is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta Canada and operates out of three locations servicing Western Canada including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
Mequipco is a leading Canadian manufacturer representative for mechanical equipment used in water and wastewater systems for municipal and industrial applications across Western Canada. DXP funded the acquisition with cash from the balance sheet, and shares of DXP common stock. Signing of the definitive agreement occurred on August 1, 2026.

Sales and pro-forma adjusted EBITDA of Mequipco for the last twelve months ending June 30, 2026, were approximately CAD $9.9 million and $2.4 million, respectively. Pro-forma adjusted EBITDA was calculated as income before tax, plus interest, plus depreciation and amortization, plus non-recurring items that will not continue after the completion of the acquisition.
