Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On July 23, 2026, Bain Capital Specialty Finance, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it will (i) release its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 on Monday, August 10, 2026 after the close of the financial market and (ii) host a call on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time to discuss the financial results. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

BCSF is managed by BCSF Advisors, LP, an SEC-registered investment adviser and a subsidiary of Bain Capital Credit, LP. Since commencing investment operations on October 13, 2016, and through March 31, 2026, BCSF has invested approximately $9,975.9 million in aggregate principal amount of debt and equity investments prior to any subsequent exits or repayments.
