Improved Pharma exhibiting and presenting at AAPS 2026 PHARMSCI 360 Meet us at Booth #1518 and posters W1030-04-20 and W1130-09-52.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- This year, Improved Pharma occupies a larger corner booth (#1518) shared with Varda Space Industries (#1520). We are conveniently located on the main aisle of the exhibition floor next to Stage 1 of the 360 Stage. Stephen Byrn, Pam Smith, Susan-Bogdanowich-Knipp, and Ruba Alajlouni will represent Improved Pharma. Please stop by the booth to discuss your R&D needs, learn more about our current research in solid-state chemistry and formulation design, and talk about crystallization in microgravity.

Improved Pharma's latest research into solid lipid nanoparticle formulation is highlighted in poster W1030-04-20 presented by Ruba Alajlouni of Improved Pharma and Purdue University. Ruba will present "Identification of an Unknown Impurity in an Etoposide Phosphate Solid Lipid Nanoparticle Formulation by LC-HRAMS(/MS)." This poster describes how an unknown impurity was identified and how changes to the formulation process were able to prevent the impurity from forming.

Improved Pharma also has a joint poster with BASF, "Effect of Secondary Vacuum Drying on Dissolution Performance and Limit of Congruency in Spray-Dried Danazol-Copovidone ASDs." The research will be presented by Dr. Kun Chen from BASF in poster W1130-09-52. This poster highlights how the limit of congruency defined the practical formulation boundary for maximizing drug loading, and secondary vacuum drying defined an important process boundary that influences residual solvent content, amorphous stability, and dissolution behavior.
