MSA Safety to Showcase Comprehensive Worker Safety Solutions at NSC 2026 Highlights include connected gas detection, market-leading head protection and trusted fall protection designed to help improve safety, compliance and productivity

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Every jobsite faces different hazards, and no single solution fits every worker, application or environment. At the 2026 National Safety Congress & Expo (NSC), MSA Safety, Inc. (NYSE: MSA), will show how its industry-leading portfolio of connected gas detection, advanced head protection and fall protection solutions help safety managers build safety programs tailored to their workforce needs.

This year, MSA Safety's featured solutions include the ALTAIR io ™ connected gas detectors, a comprehensive lineup of Type I and Type II head protection solutions, and the V-SERIES ® fall protection portfolio, including harnesses, self-retracting lifelines (SRLs) and personal fall limiters (PFLs).

"Every day, workers face complex safety challenges that need solutions designed for the realities of modern worksites," said Rob Senko, MSA Safety Vice President, United States & Canada Industrial Business. "We focus on helping customers enhance worker safety, support compliance and improve operational efficiency, and our depth of safety solutions make that possible while fulfilling our mission of helping to keep workers safe on the job and to return home at the end of their shifts."

Expanding Connected Work with ALTAIR io Gas Detection

MSA will highlight its connected work ecosystem that includes the ALTAIR io ™ 6 Multigas Detector and ALTAIR io ™ 4 Gas Detection Wearable. Both can be integrated through the MSA Connected Work Platform and are powered by MSA Grid cloud-based software.

Purpose-built for confined space monitoring and sampling applications, the ALTAIR io 6 Multigas Detector is designed to simplify pre-entry and continuous sampling by combining rugged durability and intuitive operation in a compact, handheld device. Featuring swappable sensors; a large, highly visible display; and a removeable, changeable, and rechargeable battery, its integrated pump is compatible with existing MSA sampling accessories, helping organizations streamline fleet management while enhancing worker safety and efficiency.

Complementing the ALTAIR io 6 detector is the ALTAIR io 4 Gas Detection Wearable, a connected personal monitoring device designed for continuous worker protection. Sharing a common user interface and software ecosystem, both devices seamlessly integrate through MSA Grid, enabling safety managers to monitor worker status, receive real-time alerts and access fleet-wide data from a centralized platform.

Both devices feature MSA Safety's XCell ® sensor technology, automatic cellular connectivity, digital device assignment through MSA id, real-time event monitoring and over-the-air software updates. Together, these features provide safety managers with enhanced visibility into worker status, device maintenance alerts, and worksite conditions.

Elevating Protection at Height

Falls from height remain a leading cause of serious workplace injuries, making effective fall protection a key component of any safety program. MSA will showcase its V-SERIES ® fall protection series, designed to combine worker protection, comfort and ease of use.

NSC attendees can learn more about MSA's premium harness offerings, including the V-FIT ® Arc Flash Full-Body Harness and V-FLEX ™ Safety Harness. These and other featured harnesses are designed to enhance worker mobility and all-day comfort with a secure fit while reducing restriction and the need for frequent adjustments throughout the workday.

MSA will also highlight its V-SHOCK ® and V-TEC ™ personal fall limiters and self-retracting lifelines, including the V-SHOCK ® EDGE SRL, designed to help improve safety and compliance across a wide range of industrial and construction applications.

Head Protection for a Safer Workforce

MSA will showcase its comprehensive portfolio of head protection solutions, helping safety personnel find the Type I and Type II head protection solution that is best suited for their job.

Featured is the new V-Gard H2 ® Full Brim Safety Helmet. As the newest addition to MSA's industry-leading head protection lineup, the V-Gard H2 Full Brim Safety Helmet meets ANSI Type II requirements and is designed to help protect workers from both top and lateral impacts. Featuring an integrated chinstrap, the helmet delivers enhanced security and stability while helping improve worker comfort and confidence on the job. The full-brim design provides additional protection from sun, rain and debris while maintaining compatibility with nearly all existing V-Gard ® accessories. The helmet offers flexible customization options, allowing organizations to incorporate company branding and logos easily.

Featured Type I solutions include MSA's pioneering innovations in head protection that include the V-Gard C1 ™ Hard Hat, that can help to alleviate heat stress for workers in industries where heat stress from sun exposure is a concern; V-Gard ® GREEN Hard Hat, which is made from renewable sugarcane-based ethanol; and Skullgard ® cap, designed to help protect workers in high-heat environments.
