March of Dimes celebrates $18.1 million raised by 37k+ March for Babies walkers

The nationwide event united communities, families, volunteers, and partners in support of maternal and infant health

ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, March of Dimes, the nation's leading nonprofit dedicated to improving maternal and infant health, announced that its signature national fundraising event, March for Babies, generated more than $18.1 million to date. Celebrating its 56th year, March for Babies brought together over 57,000 registered participants, including families, corporate partners, volunteers, and community advocates, all united by a shared commitment to ensure every parent and baby has the opportunity for a healthy start together. Fundraising efforts will continue through the remainder of 2026.

The success of this year's March for Babies campaign was made possible in part through the generous support of national partners, including Publix and HCA Healthcare, whose commitment to maternal and infant health continues to drive meaningful impact. March of Dimes also celebrates the individuals, teams, and organizations whose exceptional fundraising efforts are being recognized through the National March for Babies Awards of Excellence. This year's awards honor individuals and teams who have raised the most funds from Nov. 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, across multiple categories.
